middle names

anyone got a real stinker that they would never even tell their best friends? Like mine, Fairlie, its Irish apparently and has passed through the family but I hate saying it. It was my great grandmothers name and worse for her her last name was greene. I knew someone who was very embarrassed about his middle name which was sherriff. Mothers think hard about what your kids have to live with please! LOL.

I used to get teased for my middle name growing up, even though my middle name is not weird. "Joy". We did used to giggle at my friends middle name which was "Gaye"...

I think kids will tease regardless of whether you give them something obvious to be teased about or not.

Yeah middle names are notorious for the tease factor regardless.. which is why I wont be putting mine on here lol!

Mine werent embarressing, but the fact that I was given 6 names was apparently a joke to every one....guess they thought Id be the last one so they tried to use up all their faves on me??? but then along come my sister and she was named after our grandmother (with spelling mistakes-lol goooo dad!!!) her middle names Whetara, still dont know what that means but hell-just give her shit regardless

My husband has two, and we are planning on giving our son 2 as well. But I don't think he'll get teased about that... more concerned that his first name and surname initials will be TP, but I'm thinking kids won't know about Beavis and Butthead so it should ok!

my middle names are willamina and louise i never got teased about these but i did get teased about my maiden name Donker so i use to use my mums maiden name heskett but one day at high school we had to do an exercise where we had to draw a picture of something that sounds like or ryhms with our names and the closest thing i could think of to go with heskett was a biscuit and then someone found out my real last name and thats how i got to be know as dunk-a-biscuit

and DS's is Douglas....was my late fathers middle name so I knew I would always use it

My middle name is Faye after my mum (nearly all the girls in my family have some name from my mother, aunty or nana) except my DD who has gone her fathers side for middle name which is Rose

Have to admit there are some bad middle names or parents must want to embarrass the heck out of their kids. I had a friend and his middle name was Gilbert, my DH's is Clifford...he got the big red dog for many years.....actually still does from me

Mine is Jaded - hence the user name Jaded I have started to like it in the ast few years.

DD middle name is Laura as it is my best friends first name.

Harrison's middle name is Marcus - my sister suggested it because she really liked it and it fits in well with his other names!

I hate my middle name. Its Dale. Everyone at school used to say 'Chip and Dale' (you know the chipmunks). Apparently I'm named after one of my parents friends.
Although my surname was just as bad. Sciascia. Its Italian and no one can pronounce it. I have heard every possible version under the sun. Its pronounced se-a-se-a.

Middle names, hmm thats a interesting topic, i dont like mine, its louise, but its only because of this girl i went to school with.. but my last name is stok, so u know the kids were sooooo origianal.. pippy long stockings, and stockcar, i mean wow.. so lame..
and my poor son, my partner wanted his fathers name in it, so its benjamin ronald, i dont know how many ppl already have said, 'haha ronald mcdonald' i was going to put my father's middle name in there too, but DP aunty packed a sad. i so should of, it would of been better..
